looks good. Which rear spoiler is that? and does it fit "over" the chrome piece?

I think it's this one and yes, it does fit over the chrome trim.

the rear spoiler is also held on by tape? How hard to remove if you had to?

Are you sure it's this one?

The camera version one. Rear spoiler is both bolted and taped on.

Ouch.. so you had to drill through the chrome lip? hopefully the lip can be removed and then the new spoiler can use the holdes that that chrome lip used.

Well it spoiler was installed by the dealer. I negotiated them throwing it in. My understanding is that the spoiler leverages the 2 existing factory holes used by he chrome trim. I uses longer screws to go right through to the trunk lid.

Yeah really simple. Ask a friend to help you with aligning the spoiler.

Once again - be careful of some aftermarket spoilers

I also liked the look of this spoiler and ordered one from wooddashexperts. They apparently outsource the fabrication. Anyway, what I received was a misshapen mess with an out-of-whack opening for my camera and a very poor paint job. Dealing with their so-called customer service dept. has been a giant drag. They want the customer to pay return shipping - even for badly defective products. They also try to stiff you for the original shipping charge and don't want to credit the amount spent on paint ($85 or so). When speaking with my dealer, this is their source as well; the parts manager conveyed stories of similarly bad examples that had to be returned. Also, I believe proper installation is a bit more tricky (proper placement is challenging) than assumed by some - this dealer outsources it to assure quality installation and it always includes wet-sanding to improve that poor paint appearance...Just be careful

P.S. The position of the screws is outside of the chrome area - new holes in trunk!

Don't try this at home...unless you're very experienced - IMO

Sorry to hear about your problem with www.wooddashexperts.com. That's good to know. I also saw the same spoiler at www.spoilerexpress.com.
