Can you please post them up? I am going to get mine in a few weeks and want to hardwire it. Also did you buy anything extra to hardwire it?

Nope i didn't buy anything extra. It should come with everything you need. I just took it to a car electronics shop and they did it for like $30-40 and only took them a couple of hours.

I'll go take some pics right now for ya.

I hardwired mine using a cable to the back on the mirror and a mount that also goes on the mirror so there is nothing on the windshield.

I will put some pics up later and try to find a link to the mount.....

Does the Nav screen give you false alarms like I read about with the Pasport 9500i with Mike's Mount?

No it doesn't. the only time it goes off on the nav. is when u take it off the windsheild and hold it right in front of the nav. then the laser goes off. but up on the window ive never had a problem.

I actually had both the 9500i and now a V1. I returned the 9500i after about 2 weeks of the worst radar detector made....wait, 2nd worst....almost forgot about those Cobras.

I never had issues with the 9500i and my nav screen.....it just hated everything else. The V1 has been absolutely perfect since I turned X-band off and decreased the sensitivity on K-band. Before it would beep at everything.....the V1 with X-band ON was my navigation to CVS and Walgreens....just follow the beep!

Go with V1 and the mount I linked above....amazing setup!!!
