How does the Mt. Fuji emblem come off the front grille?? Im getting the grille painted today and want to take it off b4 i bring it to the bodyshop.

When you take out the grille are there screws holding it together??

 

if the grill is exactly like the g35 coupes which i'm sure it is there's clips in the back of the emblem..u just push them in and it pops out..u dont need to take the grill off

 

I just confirmed with the Service Manual and there are two clips holding the emblem to the grill. (page EXT-19)

 

^^+1 snaps right off, just push the tabs in.

 

Yah, it just comes right off. I just installed a mesh grille on my G, I'll try and put up pictures.

 

thanks guys just took off the grille and it pops right off with 2 clips

 

but why do you want it off? its the only one i kept and personally think its sexy?

I bet that does look good. Does anyone have any pictures of a black G37 with a painted grill and the Infiniti emblem left chrome? I'd love to see some.

I have the bumper off of my car and now would be a perfect time to have the grill painted.

Thanks bro!!! I ended up going with a Matte Black finish cause i didnt like the look of Flat Black. The FB looks to much like plastic
