My wallet f***ed up my seats. rivets on jeans do it to, but those usually go away. I take my wallet out of my pocket before I get in the car now.

Also remember that these seats are more of a sport's style bucket than others and have a firmer configuration and may be more prone to stretching than others.

Anyway I haven't seen anything on mine that looks to be out of the ordinary although I've also started taking out my wallet due to the narrowness of the seat.
I don't think it will be an issue as long as you take care of the leather. I am still catious though and take my wallet out of my back pocket just because I don't want that dent.

I've had my car for six months now, put 7K miles on it, and have no problems with my leather. It is a vast improvement over the leather in my 2005 TL, or even my wife's 2007 MDX.

you realize it's not the leather..

it's the damn padding in the seats. it's too soft.

my wallet continuously leaves marks in the leather, but they soon disappear.

Yeah the seat cushion is like memory foam. It's comfortable, but doesn't do much in the aesthetics department. I don't take my wallet out when getting into the car....maybe I should? So far I haven't noticed anything major.

Yea, when I picked UP my car it had about 80 miles on it (weird in its own right, i know) but the drivers seat had stretched leather and I complained and had it replaced with a new seat.

Now I take out my wallet every time and put it in the cupholder (like many above.)
