I was thinking of debadging my car, and rebadging it with "Black chrome" or gunmetal emblems of the Mt. Fuji and I N F I N I T I logos...I think the black would give a nice contrast on the back of my IP.

MY question is, does anyone know how to go about doing this or does anyone know of any shop that sells black lettering?

I had thought about doing something similar, but going titanium, or black chrome. I haven't seen any replacement logos, but have wondered about using a window tint or 3m exterior wrap material on the logos. One would have to remove and reinstall them, but might be an idea..... a lot of work though

 

resurrecting an old post here. But I'm new and trying to learn all I can, so thast why im 11 pages deep in this section, hah!

When I had my RX8, I had all the badges painted body color. There are mounting holes in the car behind all the emblems, so bodywork is required to get them off (done later, hate badges)

I just bought a new set of badges from mazda, got a can of body matched paint from a website (paintscratch.com), and painted them myself, put them back on and viola!

 

There is a company that is bringing these out very soon.... cant say who yet but know there coming...

behind what? Did you get them done or did you buy them from a company ? because I dont think there is a company that has these made yet.... I know you can "one off" custom.... but by all means why dont you help the community out and post how, when, and where... theres no need to be a snob and not let us in...

oh ... and the behind part... yea I am behind you in the amount of money I have spent and have things to show for it...

This site www.goldrushplating.com has the black-pearled emblems kit for the G35 but not the G37. However, if you send them your emblems, they'll charge you $295 to black-pearl them all and ship back.
