Bad Day. Need some advice. (PICS)

Well this morning I was pulling out of my neighbor hood and reached over to get something out of the passenger seat and by foot slipped of the brake and i rearended the guy infront of me. We were sitting still when it happened so its not really bad, but my car got the worst of it. I got an estimate from a the body shop this afternoon and worst case scenario was $1001, thats if the two parts inside the bumper are damaged but i dont think they are since i was sitting still and moving so slow. So if those are fine then its just a matter of replacing the front bumper cover, but that would still be about $750 with parts and labor ( the part itself is only 300).

I guess i really just want to know is if its possible to just order the outer bumper and put it on myself if thats the only thing damaged, cause ive seen some threads around here where guys have gotten the bumper on and off pretty easily themselves. I think UNV did it when trying to come up with some brake vents.

Anyways, if thats possible where could i order it and would i have to get it painted or can you get it prepainted?

Or are there any nice bodykits out that i could just get instead?

I think it must have hit his exhuast tip. It was a 2door accord and the tip pointed straight out the back.

unfortunately, there are no full front bumper kits yet, just lips. so it's either wait with an ugly front bumper or buy a new one for $$.

damn dude, I did that too a week ago!Was making out with my girl at the red light, eased on the brake and didn't notice, and hit the guy in front of me. Luckily only the licence plate holder front piece got cracked, and no damage. But it cost $87 for that plastic piece!!

Was there damage to the fender?
The dealer quoted me $650 to relace and paint the bumper skin from when I hit a raccoon. I assume a body shop would be cheaper an probably do a better job.
