Returning to a past subject, an option on the 2008 Honda Accord Coupe is under-the-dash ambient lighting. Not bright, but enough to see the floor. I liked it. Is this a common lighting feature for cars, and can it be done under the dash for the G37?

Thanks for the quick reply. I will call my dealership to check it out. They seem to push the lighted kick plates (I have them) but I was not aware of this option from the dealership.

I had my spoiler added today, could have had this done, too.

 

This is something I've been considering as well. Does anyone have any pics? Also, does the $125 include labor or is that just the part? Any chance this is an easy DIY?

I found that Bentley, Acura and a few other mfgs also offer this as an option or feature. Unfortunately, it is very difficult option to photograph because the light is so subtle. In a picture, it looks like they just forgot to use a flash. A good way to describe it would be a subtle accent light at your feet. You can see if you drop something but it does not take away your night focus for driving.

agreed, i have it... hard to take pictures off... goes well with the kick plates IMO

 

OK if anyone has ordered the kick plates or lighting acc.could you look at the invoice and post the p/n's. Canada sucks and so does my parts department. I am doing their work for them.
