good license plate frame and sunscreen?

I removed the cheap dealership branded license plate frame along with the decals on day one. I thought the rear license looked good naked, but could use some eventual chrome framing.

So, I took my car in for some warranty work and they washed the car. Now the license plate is all bent up and worse, under the plate there are is a bunch of abrasion where the plate slammed against the paint, presumably from their wash.

I can reseal the paint under there, and the abrasion will never show, but can someone suggest a frame that is cheap, good looking, and will tighten things up? On ebay, I saw a $5 + $7 shipping for a thick chrome frame with an Infiniti logo (probably counterfeit) and lots of positive feedback. I don't care about a logo, but I do want a quality product. Any tips?

Also, anybody got a sun screen for their windshield that they can recommend? The roll-up at the dealership looked a bit sketchy.

Wow it sounds like they use an automated type car wash?

Whatever plate frame combo you go with, I would suggest some good thick type double sided tape about half way down on each side of the plate to help keep it from lifting/flapping. Might even help keep it from rattling when you add some bass. This is what I've done...

I imagined someone recommending one with a rubber backing or maybe some plastic washer trick.

Yeah, I guess I'll just find the cheapest one I can find that looks decent and just mod it myself to protect the paint.

Thanks for the suggestions.

AutoAnything.com sells custom made heavy duty sun screens for the G. Fits perfectly, and costs about $50.
