I have seen some posts of people who have changed theirs. No reason why the Nismo wont work.

I personally really like the stock one. Its classy and feels great. Maybe later down the road if I get bored I'll switch it out.

I like stock. It matches the interior and the height is just right where it's not too short (for daily driving) and not too long (for aesthetics).

i think Shane swapped his out with an M45 shift ****, which looked pretty cool but was a little too tall. someone on G35driver modded the shaft with a dremel and it looks much better... i dremel'd my old Accord's shaft and had a few nervous sweats while doing it... think i'll just keep the stock on on the 37.

+1..... It's better than the G35 stock IMO.

I changed out the stock shifter and installed an M45 Sport shift ****. So much better IMO.

two things first the nismo will work yes. but its not going to shorter the throw. it may reduce the **** height but the throw from say 1st to 2nd will be the same. the only way of truely reducing the throw is with a short throw shifter that reduces the linkage space. second i changed my **** out to the arc Ti....

Yep, I sure did. You can look at the DIY here. Comparing the stock shifter to the M45 Sport shifter is like comparing a Cobalt to the G. There is a big different in the quality of the shift ****. Looks much better too IMO.
