ok, so ive noticed its been a while since anyone has really discussed the topic, and im checking to see where the verdict lies with the issue.

do you guys absolutely hate the chrome lip? or has it sortof grown on you?

I personally don't really care that much ... i like them both, but the only thing i like better about the spoiler is that the brake light is inside of it. the chrome lip has sortof grown on me i guess.

 

I don't hate it, but I don't love it either. I prefer the spoiler though so I got it.

 

I got the spoiler. One chromey thing in the family is enough. (the wife has one on the back of her g35x)

I wasn't too fond of the chrome lip. To be honest, it doesn't look bad on some colors, but on black, I wasn't feeling it.

 

not a fan but not going to do anything about it yet.

 

I don't mind it, but I am just gonna paint it Matte Black on my IP.

 

IMO, the only color it looks decent on is IP.

I think it looks great on IP, PG, and OB.

 

At first I hated it but I decided to buy mine without and get aftermarket eventually but it is actually starting to grow on me and a few people have commented on it too.

 

I'm not a big fan of the stock spoiler and the chrome lip has actually grown on me alot...To the point where I am still debating if I should overlay it black. I'm still waiting to see what options come out in terms of aftermarket. It does only look ok in some colors though. On OB or AB, I highly prefer the spoiler over the chrome piece. IP, IMO looks better wingless (at least the stock one).

 

im getting vibrant red g37 teusday ... itll have the chrome lip... im thinking it will probably look pretty good... and i have a set of chrome rims that i can put on the car too .... so the lip wont really seem "outta place"
