Interior lights

Just back from the body shop after a SUV slid into my rear during a snow storm. Nice repair but it cost $6K. The body shop must have had the battery disconnected because I have needed to reprogram the clock, radio, navigation system etc.

My Question: the interior lights on the radio, climate control gauges are not lit. Only the navigation system screen is displayed (and A/C buttom if it is on). I don't recall if the various control buttons were lighted before the accident or are they suppose to be black? I can't find anything in the manual about turning on the control button lights. (The day/night control in the navigation area only controls the display screen.

Maybe a fuse is blown? but why would the A/C and navigation display be ok? All thoughts on this situation is appreciated.

they don't light up when you have your headlights on either? if not, sounds like a blown fuse somewhere.
