Splash Guards

Hi everyone, just have a question. I got my IP G37 Sport in early Aug. 2007 When i recieve the G there was no Splash Guards on it. When I went back for an oil change they were on the one in the show room. Should I go back to the dealer and ask for them. Any advise would be nice Thanks I live in Toronto Canada

I replied on your other thread:

Can't hurt to ask, they are an option so its not something the dealer will likely 'throw in' at least now. Probably be a good thing to have in Canada.

You mean future business? Haha they already got your business if you're driving around in one.

Check your invoice and see if it included the splash guards. If you paid for them, then you're certainly entitled to getting them from the dealer. If not, then good luck getting the dealer to throw those on for free...I'd be pretty surprised if they would.

Did you pay for splash guards when you bought the car? If so, the dealer should put them on. If not, you can buy them.

I also put $5000.00 down with them for a GTR when I pick up my G in Aug. So if they don't throw in the splash guards I'm walkin from the deal.

I was being facetious. I'm in an ornery mood this morning, so I thought I would stir the pot. I just find it interesting that:

a. The OP wouldn't know if he bought splash guards or not
b. He didn't notice they weren't on when he received the car.
c. That he put a deposit down on a GT-R at an Infiniti dealer
d. That he would "walk" from a deal on a $70,000 car because he didn't get $200.00 splash guards on his G37.

None of it really adds up. Not sure what I'm saying is going on....just all seems strange.

The car looks better without the splash guards anyhow... I avoided one dealer because they put them on all of their cars.

a&b. I was first one to receive the G at that dealership and didn't know what was suppost to be on it. The dealer told me it was fully loaded, until i saw the one in the showroom now.

c. Here in canada some of the dealer ship are build together. One side Nissan other side Infinti same owner

d. The dealer are now asking for $130,000.00 for the GTR. That is one of the reason I'm thinking of walking. but if they treat me rite I will stay with them

I brought H&R spring so the car look really nice if it had the splash guards.

Ah. Had never seen that here in the states. I stand corrected.
