in bat's email to me it said something about dual/double layers being options on some overlay kits he offers, that is why this person asked this question, wasnt whether i wanted to choose that option or not
yes its an option the darkest it goes is 20 percent, but he offers an double layer if u want darker, which is the whole point of having a double layer..
BAT, would you like to defend your product ?
.
im more concerned with removing it once it gets too worn or when i start hating it a few years down the road.
Dont use tint! Thats for interior use only. As far as removing it, simply heat it with a hairdryer, and slowly peel .
ok guys, latest update. I wil no longer be providing the antenna overlay piece. After seeing it done on a few G's, its really better off to either leave it as is, or paint the antenna yourself.

+1, I am also curious. Is the antenna piece not smooth?
update 2: Ok guys, the last few installs we applied the antenna piece last which wasnt as clean as I would have liked it. Remedy: Apply the antenna piece first, let it set, then proceed with the roof overlay. Doing it this way will allow you to cleanly trim the excess at the base for a clean install .
