Got my scratches the first day, not sure if I did it or the dealer. The handle is right next to your bum when you close the door, a belt, jean button or other metal object can easily scratch or skuff them. Perhaps Bat can make a clear vinyl overlay. A piece of clear bra or the like would do too. Or better yet an after market replacemet that looks similar but is not as easy to damage... anyone want to make a small fortune? Actually a leather wrap or replacement for the thing would do the trick nicely.

I've read on other forums about people scratching them with watches if they reach down and try to adjust the seat. It's a pretty tight squeeze getting your arm down there. I probably would have done it already if it wasn't winter and I didn't have a jacket covering my wrist.

Those trim gets scratches from watches and rings when attempting to adjust the seats. I brought mine back to the dealer and they said it will be replaced as soon as the part comes in. So just be sure to take your watch off or leave the door open when adjusting the seats.

My interior drivers side door handle is all scratched up from my watch.. I was looking to replace it but its only going to happen again
As far as the exterior door handles... not one scratch on my side, but the passenger side on the other hand is all scratched up from my girlfriends nails.

If the interior door handles were real aluminum, you should be able to take the scratches out with steel wool. I'm not convinced that it is real aluminum because the real thing does not chip or scratch like that. I have a couple of small scratches too, but I'm leary to try anything to fix them until I know 100% for sure.

I am thinking that the interior door handles are fauluminum. Slightly higher quality than the plastanium on the previous generation. But there was not one scratch on the plastanium when I sold my old car.
