Debadging...what would you remove?
It's subject to personal preference, for me the G is my 4th car I've debadged.
I took off all but the Infiniti logo. IMO it looks better, less clutter and easier to polish and wax that area. I did mine at 10.2 miles...

It's pretty simple actually. Use dental floss like it's a mini cable saw to cut through the thick adhesive used to hold the emblems on and then use some wd-40 or goo gone to help remove the remaining adhesive. Clean, polish and re wax after adhesive has been completely removed. For me, the adhesive on the Infiniti was the worst ever (difficult to fully remove).

How do you think you would install the emblems back on if you wanted to?
Maybe there is a template available for alignment, that would be best. I would hate to be in this position but if nothing else, I'd take my car and park it right next to another one with the same emblems (factory installed). Then start measuring the other car and marking off guide lines and alignment points with blue masking tape on yours. You should feel confident enough in your own abilities to get it right the first time 'cause that adhesive is not coming off without wrecking it again! (Remove wax first)
If your confident and good with your hands, you'll probably match or exceed what the average body shop achieves.
Has anyone here actually replaced adhesive only emblems and if so how did you go about it? I feel the INFINITI letters would be the most challenging.
But I'm NEVER puttin' mine back on!
