Bump an old thread, is the valance overlay a sticker, or does it need to be put on with soap and water?

the valence from Bat comes as two pieces, both will meet up in the middle of the license plate. molding the vinyl around the bends adjacent to the plate is a B I T C H, which is why most people trim the area... mine was molded... took a long loooong time.
