Clear Bra for IP

I'm thinking of getting a clear bra for my IP G37, but I heard from people with IP cars saying that the color fades to yellowish over time. Has anyone with IP cars with clear bra in the past experienced color saturation?

My parents have an 07 G35 Sedan in IP and absolutely love their Clear Bra. Of course it's only 1 yr old so no yellowing yet. Maintenance is the key. You've got to treat the clear bra like it is paint... It needs to be cleaned, polished, etc. If you do that, you can get many many many years out of it.

I think the technology in ClearBra has advanced over the past few years that yellowing may be a thing of the past.

If I were you, I would do it. I have it on my BO G37.

When my parents did their clearbra for their Lexus (07) they guy assured us that there should be absolutely no yellowing (and by that it means that the clearbra would turn yellow, like those purple spots on tints that happen) and that it would in no way damage the paint, even upon removal. Also, color will not fade on the actual paint of the car. So rest assured, the clearbra is a great thing for cars, just make sure you dont cheapen out and get the cheap material or have a crappy installer who messes up the job (WATCH OUT FOR AIR BUBBLES UPON INSTALL!!!)

He's referring to the actual clearbra film turning yellow over time.

I had the clear bra on my last car, '05 Lakeshore Slate G35 Sedan. That thing was a life saver. It was on the car for 2 years with zero issues. Only pain in the *** was getting the wax out edges/corners.

Does anyone have recommendations for places in the Southern California area? I am looking to get this installed in the near future.

I strongly recommend it. I love the fact that i don't have to worry about my front end getting chipped. I sold my IS because of all the front chips.

I say its my best mod for now, and a very good investment.

Any pics of it installed? I'm thinking about doing it on my black G37. Did you do just the bumper or also a portion of the hood?

Typical is the whole front bumper, back of side mirrors, and 1/2 to 3/4 of the hood.
