Huper Optic is one of the best ceramic tint that blocks out a lot of radiation without sacrificing too much visibility. Only problem is the 'rainbow' effect under flourescent lighting and cost.

For my wife's car we got charcol tints, which is similar to ceramic, but offers less visibility for the same UV/IR blockage. The charcol tine does look quite a bit darker at night compared to the Huper.

They don't really look any different.. A Huper tint would look about as light as a 35% LLumar but block out as much light/UV as 5%.. That's the deal. I guess you could say its not as black.. Sort of a silver look to it, been a while since I've seen it on a car but from what I remember. If your looking to get a dark tint job I don't think it is worth the X money.

 

I'd be down for a group buy if people in socal were willing. The car just looks so much better with tint...
