Spoiler Finally Installed
Ok, so the car was supposed to have the OEM spoiler on it when I leased it. Unfortunately it did not and the dealership offered this as an optional spoiler instead. It was installed at the dealership (N. Houston Infiniti) by some company they have a contract with.
I was told by the dealership that the wait for an OEM spoiler would be 6 - 8 months. I didn't want to wait that long so I opted for this one instead. No integrated brake light in this one, but it does not block the third brake light in the back window.
For me, its perfect. Not everyone will agree but that's the beauty of an opinion.
Oh, and yes they did drill two holes and used 3M tape to secure it.

I just had the dealer install the exact same spoiler. They said the same thing...an OEM spoiler will take awhile to get. I like it. I think it is slightly larger than the factory one, and that is a good thing to me. It completes my car.

He said "yes" because it is considered a dealership add-on. So if it does begin to pit or peel or anything, it will be covered.
Is this just a weird shadow on the passenger side in the pic or am I seeing a gap under the spoiler of some sort?
I figure it's just a shadow but I can't tell from the pic, I'm sure you would not have accepted it with anything less than a perfect install.

You sparked my curiousity so I went and double-checked. It is the shadow + angle I was at. The spoiler is pretty much flush with the car. It's fiberglass so it isn't as perfect as the factory spoiler (which I'm sure is ABS Plastic or Urethane). I would have preferred the factory spoiler but didn't want to wait until my lease was almost up to get the darn thing.
