BM, I was told by my dealer they were pre-wired underneath the Aluminum kickplates. We talked about this because I told them I wanted them added later if they could not be added at the port.

Ras, I never heard of Accent Lighting accessory? What is it?

 

The Accent Lighting, I believe is simular to the lighting in the new CTS that stays illuminated in violet or white on the lower portions of the doors and on the floor....

 

From the Price sheet, this is not an option. It must be standard but I have not noticed it.

 

The accent lighting kit isn't on the Price sheet, it's on the Infiniti website for the G37, listed under packages and options/accessories along with the kick panels. They don't give a price, but it should be available by November....

I got my brocure finally yesterday and I saw it under the dealer installed accessories.

 

Wait, the kickplates are dealer installed? or the accent lighting?

I want both. And anything else they have.

 

It probably is. Someone with the car should pop the Kickplates off and find out for us.

 

Here they are on the M... orange color. Probably to match the interior lighting. So we'll either get White or Blue to match the cluster/interior lighting

 

The Kick Panels are like $320-350!!!@#$#@% I don't know dog.... I would hope they're a little more to them than the ones for the M. The ones one the M are cool, but $350.... I know I'll probably get the accent lighting, but I'll have to see about the panels...

 

woahhh that's all it is? i was expecting something nicer than that... i was invisioning the maxima kick plates, but saying "Infiniti" much larger and brighter

 

I just took my kick plates off and there no visible wires/harness to connections. Unless the wire/harness are in the interior of the car and not in the door jam where the kick plates are attached. Didnt have time to get to involved right now. I will look later.

 

the maintenance manual is floating around here somewhere.. i'm sure it'll show exactly what's involved with those kick plates.

 

Well I picked up my G37 last week and I was supposed to be getting the illuminated kickplates but I was told that no one has them yet. I think that I will wait anyones for some aftermarket ones. They will be a little cheaper and worth the money.
