Hi Guys, I finally get to post on the G37.com

I have this burning question to ask
Why does some G37 has the chrome spoiler while others have the non-chrome? What's the difference? Different package?

I also thought the g35 coupe front bumper look alike only come with non-sport g37 model? Can we have non-sport front with sport packages?

The chrome spoiler is standard on all G37. The color matched spoiler is an option that is $550. And no, you cannot have non-sport bumper with a sport package.

 

I want to add that the non-chrome spoiler is only available (as an option) on the G37 Sport and the G37 Journey + Sport Package

 

I'm sure that you can somehow bribe them to do it anyways...

 

yup.. infiniti dealers are in the business of making money.. if they wont install it.. they'll definately sell it to you but you'll need a hole punch for that trunk OUCH!

 

With the 07 Sedan, the only model that can come from the factory with the spoiler is the Sport........BUT there have been numerous members that have gotten the dealership to install the factory spoiler on their X or Journey. So yes, you'll be able to get a spoiler installed even if you can't order it from the factory.

 

I have examined the Sport Package spoiler and I cannot find the camera that is embedded within the standard chrome spoiler. I cannot believe that it's not possible to get the spoiler and the navigation package. Any thoughts?

 

There are 2 versions of the Sport Package spoiler, one with a hole for the camera and one without.

 

The Nav package with the camera is available independent of either spoilers.

 

with spoiler, rearview camera is NOT an option according to my dealer, only with the POS chrome thingy...

 

You got lied and tricked. The camera is available on both spoilers (aka it doesn't matter). View the attachments.

 

So I had a car I wanted with the packages i wanted coming on shipment soon, but no spoiler attached (I didn't order it specifically for myself). I asked about putting on a factory spoiler and they said it wasn't available for 3 months. Do you think they'd be able to install it with the backup camera properly mounted when it does come out? Or actually should i ask this question, should i place an order down for what i want, instead of having the dealer install the spoiler? I'm a little paranoid something might happen if the spoiler isn't factory installed for some reason =P

 

That a G37 convertible sport come wth chrome spoiler and wont fit the coupe

 

The spoiler looks soo much better

 

Wow lots of bad information in this thread. You can get a "S" coupe with or without the spoiler and the camera works with either if you have it.
