Problems with an aftermarket Apple CarPlay multimedia unit

I recently tried to install an aftermarket Apple CarPlay multimedia unit in my g37. After installing and connecting all the wiring, my electronics became unresponsive and my gauge cluster died. After removing the aftermarket unit and putting all the original wiring where it belonged, we saw that all the fuses on the passenger side were blown, so we replaced them. After replacing all the blown fuses and turning on the car, the climate control module started smoking and got fried and some fuses got blow (the rear defrost) . After ordering and installing a new climate control module (it did not get fried this time)

, the problems still persists. I am at a lost and do not know what to do, any help will be appreciated.

Sorry to hear about the nightmare, Shadow1975 — that sounds exactly like what happens when an aftermarket CarPlay unit is installed without the proper G37-specific wiring harness/integration module. Unfortunately, this is a very common (and expensive) issue on our cars.
