Unhappy Ouside temperature dashboard display

2009 G37S Journey, 42,705mi: Today I noticed the outdoor temperature sensor display on the dashboard is "stuck" on 72F. I cycled through the other displays, turned car completely off then restarted ignition, and it still always says 72F, regardless of the outside temperature. Has anyone seen this behavior before? This is more annoying than expected- I use that display a lot. Thoughts? Thanks!

Never happened to me but the outside temperature sensor is located in front of the radiator. Easy to change out if it's bad. But it usually reads 10 degrees higher than the real temperature.
