Identifying different NAV button trim

does anyone know what car (sport/journey/tech package/etc?) these 2 types of navigation buttons/trim came from below?
one set has 2 columns of buttons on each side, while the other only has 1 big button on each row

both said theyre from a g37 with navigation but not sure if that's true or not

The picture on top is for 2008+ models WITHOUT NAV- likely a Journey model.

The picture on the bottom is for 2007-2008 models WITH NAV. The CF slot was discontinued either in 2008 or 2009.

I am not sure what you are trying to do, but keep in mind these pieces are NOT mix-and-match. You can not put a non-NAV switch panel (the clock one) in a NAV-equipped car and vice versa. It will not work. Just saying for reference...

thanks! i accidentally bought a jdm panel but didnt pay attention and it turned out to be the non nav version so i ended up buying a 2nd one with the correct nav buttons, but now i'm stuck with both styles. the non nav jdm version came with the screen, panel, and radio too though

i was planning on only swapping the jdm nav buttons onto my usdm nav panel since i'm assuming the screen for the non nav model is also different, right?
for reference here are the 2 panels i'm talking about

In other words, you have NAV and want to swap the NAV switch assembly (the dial one) with a JDM unit?

I did that years ago... simple plug-and-play. Works fine.

The JDM preset switch panel (the clock one) and the display likely will not work correctly on US models as the wiring is slightly different. If you're just swapping the NAV switch unit then that is all you need.

yea that's what i want to do. glad to hear that part is plug n play!

i don't think i'll swap the preset switch panel and display but since i already accidentally purchased them i might take a look and see if i can get it to work just to see
and for anyone else wondering.. here is the jdm panel.. you can see the buttons are all mirrored to the usdm version as you would expect

i'll report back when i have a chance to compare the jdm vs usdm wiring and if i can get them working

I'm confused on what you're trying to do. you just want the JDM button panel on your USDM car?

I thought he was trying to swap out the NAV buttons like I did:

I see no sense to swap out the entire system. The only difference is the clock (JDM has no logo). But, it is his car, so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
