Guys, I messed up really bad. I was changing the rearview mirror to the android one. While the car was on the I shorted the car through touch the positive and negative wires of the rearview mirror

My fuel gauge and oil temp gauge is now dead. My car won't get out of park. The gear stick is stuck. Please help!!!!
Also, my AC stopped working.
I don't know which fuse these belong to.

Please help!!!

Sounds like your gauge cluster. Just check all the fuses especially in the fuse box by the battery.

 

Year of your car? Coupe or Sedan? What "mirror" were you working on?

All of your symptoms are tied to the AC Amplifier. The AC amplifier feeds signals to the cluster and also controls the gear shift interlock (which OS why you can't take it out of gear). I need the above info to determine which fuses for you to look at.

 

You probably just blew a fuse. Where did you short the wires?
First thing is check all the fuseboxes. 2 in the engine bay, one on the driver side kick panel.

I checked the fuses and one 10 amp fuse was blown.
ELEC PARTS (IGN)
Specifically, the 3rd one down from the top left.
My car is a G25 2013 (not US car, for the Middle East)

 

Judging by the title I was expecting to see the car on fire or in pieces. Fuse box (there's 2 (3?) of them) is the first place to check when something doesn't work.

 

I'm a newbie.

 

LOL. found it. This came to mind too. *HE* messed up real bad too.

 

I always laugh at that video. Its like bombing the blind crest at Laguna, only in a slow car on the road with a bad driver.

 

As you now know, ALWAYS disconnect the battery when ANY electrical work.
