Does the part number on the backup / parking / reverse sensors matter?

Does the part number on the backup / parking / reverse sensors matter?

I have a 2013 IPL 6MT coupe in malbec black. One of my backup/parking/reverse sensors is broken and I want to replace it. I'm looking for replacements on ebay but many seem to have different part numbers on the clip portion. Anyone know if these are different simply because of color, or because they made them differently over the years? If the different numbers are just due to color I don't mind because I'll just repaint them with a color pen. Thanks!

The sensors are part #:25994-xxxxx

The first 5 digits of Nissan's part numbering system identify the actual part while the last 5 digits refer to the actual vehicle classification the part is intended for (model/chassis/2-4dr./color/etc.).

Being that you are going to repaint the sensor, any 25994-xxxxx from a coupe or convertible should work just fine.
