Steering Lock Actuator: Cut One Wire?
Would anyone know how to do this for a 2008 G37S?
Steering Lock: cut one wire. /switch optional - Nissan 370Z Forum
I've been scouring the web for service manuals, etc. to see if this can be solved. So far, I'm confused as to what to cut
Can someone with experience advise?
Thanks

Thanks for replying!
I did just that last night and now it's cranking/driving without issues - However, the service light is on now.
Did this happen to you as well?

Well, mine wouldn't crank at all. Apparently, this happens to a lot of Nissan and Infiniti's
No recall either, if not, we'd all have this replace no problem..
So there was a Yellow Key indicator light that was on, to the left of the Service Engine Soon light.
The solution I found was, I ended up cutting the Brown Wire (Terminal 1) on the Steering Wheel Lock Actuator harness AND removed the Fuse as well.
It now starts up without an issue.
The dealership wanted to charge $1550 to replace the Actuator
