Recently moved to NYC, looking for dashcam/bumper guard recommendations

Hey guys, happy Labor Day weekend to you all!

I recently moved to Brooklyn and was hoping to get some advice from those of you who have been living in cities. I'm in the market for a dashcam and bumper guards and was wondering what kinds you all may use and your feedback about them. For a dashcam I would like to spend <$100 but otherwise price isn't a huge issue. I'm fortunate that my apartment building has an underground parking garage so I can keep my G safe there most of the time, but I want some extra protection when I have to take it out, especially because people drive like maniacs around here.

Some pictures before I moved. Thanks in advance!

Good luck with keeping that G a beauty. NYC has its way with beating up on cars, even with taking every precaution. I live upstate a bit and people drive like animals up here too and DGAF.

I have cushioned bumper guards that you have to put on and hook to the sides of the bumper when parked. Brand is bumper guard. It’s a bitch, but i park on the street and I KNOW ppl knock into it when theyre parking.

For dash cam look at an A119, can be had for under $100 and is super low profile. Look at doing an add a circuit installation for it too so you don't have wires running everywhere.

i got a Pyle front & rear HD dashcam for $60 (sale? looks like its $70 now) ...
Amazon Amazon

used a fusetap in the fusebox, then to a harwired female USB. then i powered it with a standard mini USB cable - didn't want to use the included mini USB to cig lighter adapter and have wires hanging everywhere - wires are all tucked up around fusebox area and out of sight.
Amazon Amazon

it records front and rear simultaneously - files on SD card are labeled A and B for front/rear.

I'd suggest a dash cam that supports at least 64GB as the space will be eaten up pretty quick especially if it's an HD cam. Less is fine if you plan on checking it frequently or if you notice something right away but if you don't notice that ding for a few days that video may have already been overwritten. Also, look into one that will record when the car is off or wire it so that it remains on when parked. This is what I went with:
