Fitting 2 JL 12w6v3 in a G37 Coupe

I have 2 expensive subs i cant afford to get smaller or different subs so i need to fit these 2 somehow. Any ideas because these are wide subs

that's a tall order.


i didn't even have room to stand up my powered 10" "truckbox" in the trunk - had to lay it down so it fires upwards.





maybe you could sell them and buy something else?

With those jl's don't you need a lot of airspace? Your customs box might bring the subs all the way to the trunk. Or you can figure out someway and fire upwards. A box like that won't be easy to fabricate as it would have to be built in the trunk. You won't be able to take it in and out very easily either.

Look at wicked cas they build custom boxes to fit the trunk of the car specifically

I recommend rolling up your sleeves and creating your own custom box; but that's just me. If not DIY, most any reputable custom installer will create custom boxes. Just pick one with some reputable recommendations. Its not rocket science building them but they need to be built right

The biggest issue is going to be finding a location and orientation that will accommodate the drivers diameter plus an additional 1-2" for the mounting ring. Once you figure that out, the rest of the enclosure is elementary
