Hello fellow G drivers...Searched around a bit but didn't find anything substantial, but I'm looking to add a front parking camera and sensors to the G37. Similar to the backup camera.

I had a rental that had one and I was so impressed that I can get close enough to objects without hitting stuff that I'm looking to add one to the G37.

Anyone has this installed, or know of a particular brand I could go with? Thanks!

 

I have been looking for something similar. Want a sensor but not a camera. I found this, but did not make too much sense as I can get a completely new lip for a little more than this costs.

If it points you in the right direction, I think some of the European versions of the G had front parking sensors...I think a member from Romania posted a picture of it a long time ago on here somwhere...his front bumper had the sensors built right in

edit: check this thread out too...https://www.myg37.com/forums/g37-sed...sensors-2.html ....looks like it was an option in China, Japan and the UAE as well...the fact that it was available in the UAE means that there is probably OEM software in English to support it though the the standard interface too...

 

Thanks guys. I bought a backup/front camera with IR. I'll keep you guys posted on the install once it gets here.

 

One of the other Infiniti cars... (maybe the ex35?) has a camera integrated into the from emblem. Maybe you could retrofit that.
