USB Lag When skipping songs iPhone

Is anyone else experiencing lag when using the factory controls to skip, or go to previous songs while connected to USB.

It seems to have started for me since the last iOS update.

If I open up the playlist on the infotainment screen, I can move around the playlists, songs and menus just fine. But if I just have up the navigation or another screen and I use the steering wheel controls to click forward or back it is very slow.

with every IOS update, things get worse. i'm back to using an old iPod touch on IOS 6.xx in the car.

Wirelinq cable on the way, soon to be done with the Apple garbage and actually be able to have good sounding audio vs the B.S. Apple EQ presets.

I think you may be on to something. I need to rethink how I am playing music. I miss my 08 with the SD card. I would load it up with songs. And the clarity was so much better.

Gotta love "progress"

For any who are following, I did a couple of hard resets of my iPhone and now the lag has improved a bit.

currently using my old Galaxy Note 3 (rooted, with Viper4Android audio enhancement app), and the audio quality is SOOO much better than the iCrap.

IOS and their stupid non-adjustable EQ presets .... all of them sound like ***.
the Bose speakers do sound good once you are able to tweak the weird EQ the factory amp applies.
