Bluetooth Issues

Hi All,

I drive a 2010 G37x coupe. Every so often, when Im using my Bluetooth for talking, I hear the caller very clearly but my voice is very choppy on their end. Sometimes it works fine and sometimes they cant hear me at all - extremely choppy. At first I thought its poor network in that area but as soon as I switch the Bluetooth off and pick the phone up, they hear me fine so its not a network coverage issue.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

There is a TSB (fix) for the 2010 BT issue. Ask your local dealer to see if your software has been updated.

Also, if you have your A/C blowing on high, it could be causing 'wind noise" over the microphone.

Here is the TSB: http://www.infinitig37.com/TSB/ITB11-040d.pdf

Will this cost money? or would this be considered as a "recall/defect"

Thanks!

I had this done on mine and I believe the car was out of warranty and he said he should have charged me but he didn't. The issues I was having was related to streaming not calls but that didn't fix it. I asked him if there was another update when I was there last week and he said no and that they're still trying to fix newer cars. Phones are updating too fast for them to keep up.

itshere, did you ever have the suggested ITB11-040d performed? I have the same issue as you...calls get choppy (sometimes). Other times it sounds good. I can’t quite put my finger on the cause.
