Best aftermarket Navi

Hi all,
just bought my 2012 G37 and got her home today.... LOVE The car. got to say that i drove the GS350 and G37 side by side... and the G37 kicked the butt of the lexus, imo...

anywho, my G does not have stock Nayigation... is it better to upgrade with a used Inf Navi system from a wrecked G or buy a different model... some aftermarket off brand? or just use your iPhone and Aux cord? Ive never owned an Infinti before and am totally unfamiliar with their Navi systems and if they are even any good... or not.

Please let me know what you did to get Navi.. thx all

b

I have the Navi in my car and I still use Waze on my phone. IMO it's better than anything you can get out there.

unless you figure out how to get carplay operating on the factory screen, I'd just buy a cellphone mount

Yeah, there is a navtool thing which gives an HDMI input for the factory screen... it's really expensive. Then you could use an apple TV with the mirroring function to mirror your phone screen over, or plug in the HDMI conveter cable into your iphone.

imo not worth it. In my previous car I had a nexus 7 installed in the dash, and that was really nice.
