'09 G37 iPhone 7 music questions
I know this question has probably been answered deep in the threads but here is mine:
I have a 2009 G37x sedan with the premium pack. I bought the car used and it did have the iPod 30 pin adapter at the time. I seem to have lost it and cannot find it. I need to buy a new one but am lost on what to buy in order to play music through the cars speakers via an iPhone 7 with the lighting port WHILE charging the phone at the same time. Any suggestions?

I don't think the factory port charges your phone at the same time, there is not enough power. It's only for playing music and file transfer. And the fact that the the iPhone 7 doesn't have a headphone jack doesn't help either lol.

You're going to have to get a number of cables. 1) A dual-lighting female to single male adapter [Belkin makes a good one but it's pricey; $40] 2) male RCA to female 3.5mm Y adapter - this connects to the AUX system 3) 3.5mm to lighting adapter 4) cigarette port usb charger 5) usb to lighting cable.
Setup will look like this:
If you get the 30pin >> lighting adapter >> iphone to work with audio + charge, PLEASE let me know.
