I have a 2011 G37s 6mt

So I have an odd electrical problem. When I am at or near full throttle in 3rd gear my brake light (e-brake light) will come on in the dashboard. It usually will stay on until I shift into 4th gear. I have jiggled the e-brake a little while the light is on and it does nothing.

It will not happen if I am under half throttle (best estimate).

I'm not sure where to begin. I have added a grounding kit to the engine bay and a single amp/sub combo in the trunk, but I have never done any other electrical work.

Has anyone heard of this? Any ideas what it could be?

 

Check your brake fluid level...

 

Good idea, I assumed it was electrical.

 

Likely brake fluid as said, budget to be doing brakes in the semi near future. Topping up with fluid should fix it in the mean time.

 

Are there recommendations on here somewhere for brake fluid and pads?
