I've searched the forum and don't see any recent threads on aftermarket remote starts. I'm currently looking for one to install into my 08 coupe. I've had a viper in the past in my BMW but i am not familiar with the other ones. I would like to start it from my phone but that isn't a necessity.

 

I just installed the Fortin EVO-NIST1 in my sedan. It works through the OEM key fob, 3x lock to start. It requires 2 pins being added into one of the BCM plugs, and 3 wires being soldered. I got it pre-flashed to work with the G and with the T-harness for $85.
