HELP! Anybody with iPhone have you updated to 10.1.1?
I have a iPhone 6s Plus on iOS 10.1.1

I was able to play music on my radio since I bought the car until I just updated to 10.1.1

The previous iOS 10.0.1 worked fine. Anybody have similar results? I will be calling Infiniti in morning to see if they offer an update for Bluetooth/USB ect. I do not have nav.

If that doesn't work I will be calling Apple to see if I can go back on the software?


The only option under iOS is 9

 

I have a 2011 G37xS . Ive got an ITouch 6 , it updated to 10.1.1 recently and it works fine. The update did all sorts of cool things for my Itouch, no problems at all. Good Luck

 

That's crazy! It could be my phone? I checked another iPhone with different software and it works great. Mine doesn't for some reason? Thanks for the info!

 

Did you try a reset?

Hold the home button and the on/off button simultaneously for a reset.

Yes I tried everything. Apple recommended going to Apple Store and possibly getting new phone

 

It's got to be my phone then. Other phones work just not mine. I guess it's something other than software ??

 

It's most likely just a software issue. Do a factory reset on your phone and it should work.

 

Mine (iphone 5s iOS10.1.1) also stopped working after the update, 2011 G37s non nav.

 

Mine works well too just had to download a song tho to stream Spotify. iPhone 7 latest software update

 

Mine works just as well (or poorly) as it did before the update. 2010 G37S with Nav/Bose and iPhone 6plus.

 

I'm having same problem. Mine has worked fine till recent update. It says song not available on screen when I try and use my iPhone on pandora or YouTube. My girlfriends works fine with no problems.


I have tried the following on my 6s plus 10.1.1
Re install iTunes (on 2 different computers)
Reset the entire car radio (holding settings and turning volume down 20-40 clicks)
Factory reset iPhone (hold power and home button for like 20 seconds)
Restore iPhone via iTunes (2 different computers)
Different Apple USB cord
Forget the car Bluetooth and rejoin on iPhone
Verified no iOS update available
Apple over the phone had no idea and couldn't fix it
I'm sure did other things but no luck

Infiniti has updated a TSB to address iOS 10.x issues. Refer to ITB12-054b (see attached).
