Optima Red Top Not Fitting

Hey everyone, so I went and ordered an Optima Red35 online today from Pepboys. When I got it I noticed that the Part Number is not R35 but rather 75/35. Not sure if that means it is more universal or not.

Turns out this thing does not fit. I cannot get the positive terminal to line up and I am not about to pull on anything to get it to fit. I think they gave me the wrong battery OR maybe Optima moved from the RED35 to the 75/35 for a more universal fit. . . ? I am not sure but I plan on just returning it tomorrow and maybe grabbing a Bosch. Any ideas or recommendations?

A 75/35 would mean the battery has top and side posts.

Our car uses a group 35 Battery.
Is the battery to short?
They should have included an adapter.

If you are going to return it....Look at an AGM battery from the store. Autozone and Oreillys both have their own brand.
Autozone usually has coupons floating around.

I ended up going into the store this morning. I walked over to the battery section and picked up a RED35. I went to the counter and they swapped the 75/35 for the RED35. The girl gave me the wrong battery last night. The terminals are on the opposite sides on the 75/25 than the 35. I then installed the battery this morning with no issues. . .
