Bovee wma2000
Hey guys. I have a 2013 G37 non nav, interested in purchasing the BOVEE WMA2000 if it works with Android. My question is does it only stream music played through MUSIC app or will it stream my Spotify and Youtube audio?
Thank you

I'm still rocking the WMA2000, currently running on Android 7.1.1 via my G Pixel XL. As mentioned in my earlier post, the only drawback is you don't get track information on the display screen via the iPod interface while streaming from music provider - I am not sure about track info being displayed via Music App or audio files stored locally as I only steam via GPlay Music. All audio from my phone is rooted through the car, including my Google Assistant! We have lots of interesting conversations through the car audio system thanks to the WMA2000 😀

All this on my 2011 non-nav Journey.

Sound quality is excellent. I use either an equalizer application or the installed EQ in GPlay Music to improve the quality/tweak it. Single best mod I've done is to plug the WMA2000 in and sync my Android phone. I leave my phone Bluetooth on all the time - when I get back in my car, no matter what source is selected and playing on the system, when phone reconnects to car, my music starts playing right where it left off. I have a phone mount in the CD player slot (definitely not using that slot any time soon), and run Android Auto app automatically when car connects to Bluetooth. This displays all track information and album art on my phone screen, which is located about an inch below the main screen.
All this on my 2011 non-nav Journey.

Just FWIW I'm using the WMA1000 (which is the non-USB version of this device) with an iPhone 6 on the latest iOS software and I haven't run into any bluetooth connectivity or playback issues.

Do you happen to have an iPhone 7 on the newest version? I have the Bovee as well and it was working perfectly with my Galaxy Note 4 but I just upgraded to the iPhone 7 Plus and it doesn't seem to connect anymore. I've read that either the new iOS could be the issue. I haven't looked into it as much to know the problem/fix.

About my needs: I have an indash nexus 7 2013 tablet connected to a 128gb SanDisk Ultra Fit. I want to keep the ability to listen to XM radio AND have the ability to stream music from the tablet(youtube, pandora, di.fm, usb drive, etc) through the car speakers.
My setup:
I am currently testing the iSimple IS31 + Best Kit BAA3637 on my nexus 7 and so far so good. The sound quality is very good and phone calls from my note 4 still stream perfectly through my car's bluetooth. I hardwired the power to the IS31 to the cigarette lighter connection so that it turns on as soon as the ignition is turned on. I went this route because i have an indash nexus 7 that I use as my media player (i have a 3 year old that loves watching Elena of Avalor episodes before dropping her off @ day school).
In conjunction with the above parts i mentioned, in the near future I plan to add the iSimple ISFM23. Unless you need or want a physical aux wire connected to your device, there is no reason to do both the IS31 and the ISFM23. Using just the ISFM23 and BAA3637 should be enough to stream music to your speakers but I have not tested it.
Also, i will be testing the Wirelinq from Grom.
I hope this post helps some ppl.

Any suggestions how to get it to work on mine? It hooks up to the radio and my phone connects to the Bovee fine when I try to stream nothing comes out of the speakers in the car or phone at that point and on the iPod screen it says no songs or music , I know it’s connected tho I see Bovee on my Spotify. In case this helps 08 G37s with no Navi just phone and iPod hook ups . Any help would be much appreciated
