Today I took a double CD (remember those?) to my G that I just bought. One of the CD's played fine but the second one had a blank display. What I mean is there were no track listings or any text on the display. Just a track 1 of 12 at bottom.
My intent was to rip to my music box but it would hard to find it with no name.
I though CDs have embedded text metadata. This was a commercial CD, not a bootleg or copy.

 

Some cd's have the metadata on them, some do not. For me its about 75% have the data.
For your exact double CD though that is weird to have one work and not the other.
