I'm not an electrical engineer, why did you put another 10A fuse in for the V1 and not the 5A that comes with the fuse tap you linked to? Isn't 5A plenty for the detector?

The link was just an example. I think its recommended 10..and I have always used 10 .If you search on Amazon or ebay most come with multiple fuses. I think there may be a spare 10 provided in the fuse box too.
