Hey all,
I have a 2012 G37x. Currently I have a 12" Alpine Type-R with a 1000W zeus amp and an LCi-2 converter. I absolutely love the low end in my car, it is phenomenal. However, I would like to upgrade the door speakers and I was looking for suggestions that would make a DRASTIC improvement over the current bose system. What upgrades can I make while still keeping the stock system. I would be willing to go as far as upgrading the amp for all the door speakers and am open to replacing all speakers in the car. Please drop some suggestions (links to products would be greatly appreciated).

i found that the bose speakers arent bad when i use Viper4Android to correct the Bose amp's crappy EQ profile. before you go tearing out all the speakers, try just replacing the amp (unless the factory speakers have some weird impedance?)

 

I am looking to go with a kicker or audison amp with built in DSP and Hertz speakers. The Kicker unit control looks to be the cheese but I haven't researched them.
Already have a Alpine type x with powerbass 1000.1 Same boat as you. Would like to see what your system schematic will look like.
