Question Update NAV, Lose Extra Voice Commands? (early 2008 G37)

So I received a NAV update for Christmas. My wife's family knows me well. My only concern is, I have one of the early 2008 G37s with the extra voice commands (which were later removed from newer 2008 Gs). If I update my NAV, will I lose these extra voice commands too? As it stands now, my map pack is dated 6-2007, so nothing has ever been updated on this car, software-wise. If I could update my maps while retaining original software, that would be awesome.

Yes, when I updated the nav for my early ’08 coupe I lost a few commands, but it still left me with more than in the later models. I still have all the audio and climate control voice commands as before, but on some situations it asks extra questions it did not do before.

Thank you, Chekov! I updated the NAV yesterday and all the voice functionality that I care about still seems to be intact.
