G37 Navigation AUDIO Issues

I have an issue with the audio control when using my Navigation system...I am unable to control the volume of the navigation directions from my volume control on my steering wheel nor on the volume control button on the console....

This seemingly occurred when I updated my Maps back about 7 months ago...

Can anyone share a fix?

In my car you can only adjust the volume when the navigation voice is speaking. I wait for an instruction before I touch the volume level, otherwise you are just adjusting the music volume. Not sure if this is your issue or not.

Hello 2008G-Man.....I'm with you on that....the volume control once allowed me to control the navigation volume while it was "speaking" voice directions but does not allow me to do so now....it's frustrating....I am in the G37 convertible, so when the top is down and I am using the Nav system...if the volume is too low from my previous use and settings I cannot control the volume without having to go into the settings on the console and adjust the volume there...not very secure to do while driving.....

That sucks, can you try re-installing the map upgrade and see if that makes a difference?
