My 2016 map update arrived for my 2013 G37 today.
Inserted the application software disk and let it load/install.
Directions say if at the end it shows the map, then it good, but if is shows "Program Loading (2nd)", to reinsert the app disk, so I reinserted the disk and at the end it still show "Program Loading (2nd), does it take multiable disk insertions to load the apps, or is something not working right?
(checked the version number and it shows the newer version number)

 

I just did mine this weekend for my '13 G37. I had to do the app disk twice like you, but after that it prompted me to insert disk 1 and so on.

After about 90 minutes of leaving my car running while inserting the progression of disks, it was a successful load.

Call the support number included in the packaging and see what's up. Might have got a bad license number or something like that.

I just went ahead (never waited for the insert disk prompt) and loaded on the other disks, so far everything seems to be working.
