Navigation update failed in middle

I successfully updated my 2010 G37 Navigation with the 2012 version. But the 2014/15 version failed near the end of Map Disk 3, and I'm now is stuck in the middle of the install with no functioning Nav system.

Is there any way to reset the system so I can start again with the 2012 version that works? (I've already sent back the latest version for a refund, after a replacement copy still had a problem with Disk 3.)

Many thanks.

Please forgive my ignorance, what/where is the "service menu"?
If it's part of the normal AV display, all of that except audio is now locked out because of the incomplete update.

Did you actually call someone at Navteq, the number is on the DVD pack, they can walk you through a failed install.
Helped me, when my battery died (even with a charger on it!!)

Yes, the first time they sent me a new set of disks, the second time they sent me a refund.
They had no other ideas other than "see the dealer".

This is what happens when a third party makes a product from behind a desk with no quality control.
