Update NAV map?
Does anyone know if there is a way to update the NAV map? There are some new roads in my area I would like to see and use with the traffic for best routes.

Has anyone with a 2013 model installed the most recent update? I'm thinking that I'm good for at least another 3 years, but I'm being inundated by Infiniti with Nav Update offers.

I will let you all know that these updates drop to $100 around August-October so if you want a deal, I'd wait until then.

So we get to keep the Zagat Guide if we do not update. Wonder why they eliminated this feature.

Unfortunately, the 2009 is a dealer install only. $149 for the update plus dealer service cost to install.
My restraint guide is garbage. Many of the smaller places are out of business and lead me on goose chases. I find yelp and plugging in the address works better.

I did the update a few months ago (disc version) and I'm very happy with its address accuracy. Overall it was a good upgrade for my uses and I don't regret it, but there are still annoying issues that are beneath what I would expect in a premium car. I have to watch out for wasted miles. Sometimes it will have me turn onto a highway for a few miles only to be u-turned back the other way, passing the point where I got on in the first place. It also sometimes tries to take me up the wrong way on entrance ramps into oncoming traffic. It still doesn't recognize as many addresses as any of my other previous GPS systems, and it still doesn't display the speed limit except for on some interstates. It doesn't display the car speed at all, or display the estimated time of arrival. I realize it shows the time remaining but that's just not the same. On all the G37 GPS negatives I just mentioned, my Garmin does all of those exceptionally well. So does my 4 year old TomTom. I still prefer using the in-dash unit in the G37 just because it looks good and no dangling wires, but with technology being what it is and with these cars' being so good in so many ways, I don't understand why such a lackluster GPS is being used in them.
