2010 G37 Nav Video Input?

I own a 2010 G37xS with Navigation and there doesn't seem to be any where to Input Video like in the older G's with the RCA inputs. All I see is the DVD player and the USB port next to the power outlet.

Am I missing something, or is there NO way to input video from an iPhone, iPad or Laptop? That would stink!

^^^^ I apologize if this was covered somewhere before, I did try and look. Please be nice haha ^^^^^^

Nissan can be weird like that.

My 2012 Maxima with nav has inputs, and the nav is like 99% identical in these cars.

Also, my Maxima had dimming side mirror, and heated steering wheel. You'd think a similar year G37 would get these too but nope. I figure it had to do with engineering costs, and manufacturing tooling. It's cheaper to keep using the wiring harnesses engineered in 2008 than to add features that will require a redesign.

Does anyone know if you can get heated steering wheel or dimming side mirror in a Q40? Are they still using 2008 parts in these cars? My Maxima also had tpms pressure readings displayed for each tire. You'd think it wouldn't be too hard to adapt this to their luxury line, but maybe it's more work than I think it it is.

Isn't the Q50 a whole new car? I would expect all features of the Maxima represented in this car.

I am looking to mirror my iPhone, iPad, and/or Microsoft Surface Pro to my nav screen. I haven't given up yet, but it isn't looking good. I'm not sure why they removed the composite aux video/audio inputs from the G35, but it stinks that they did!

My buddy has a 2009 Acura TL and they make a plug'n'play adapter mod that lets you input just about anything. I am going to keep my eyes out for something like that for now.

I did however get my plug'n'play nav screen unlock kit the other day though, so I will be giving that a go soon. That is the one that let's you play videos while you're moving .

Keep me posted if anyone figures anything out! Imagine how cool it would be if you could mirror iphone/ipad/surface with touchscreen options too. That is obv a stretch though.

Thanks,
T

I did find a couple of options...

1) NavTool - I believe it was around $200, gives you an additional rca input basically
2) GVIF Interface for around $250 gives you 3 rca's and looks a little more advanced
