Focal DSA 500 RT

Has anyone installed or know how well this unit works? Just wondering how well the system will improve my factory unit without changing speakers and all the other things that would have to be done.

I was looking at this tonight. I think the signal processor would be great but the front speakers are sooooo bad I'm not even sure it would help. I don't know how Bose is still making speakers, they're ridiculously overrated. Marketing I guess.

There are so many examples where technically superior products never gain the market share because consumers are more swayed by hype and advertising.

Have never installed one of these nor have I heard one in action but given its small size, light weight and minimal amplification, it will help somewhat. Its not going to jiggle any mirrors or pound your seat back but it should give you some nice fill that the Bose system is missing.

However, at $999 I don't think what you get is worth what you will pay. While it does provide a single package to replace the Bose amp its going to be a bit puny in the wattage for any serious listening.

I would defer to someone who has actually heard one of these in a similar car. Im always happy to be impressed with things like this

Thank you for your input. I think i'm going to give it a try. My local Dealer of which i have had install high powered units in my boat and truck. has stated that it will give the stock unit a little of the missing punch. the system will also adjust the front speakers via computer. and remove some of unwanted sounds from them. i'm not looking for thunder just some added power and a sub.
