Got mine too, only adding pictures because I bought the new "High Polished" Stainless Steel ones(+$10). They are very shiny but I can already see that my OCD will be kept busy with fingerprints...

Half and Half and then finished...

I'm just seeing these for the first time. Do the ***** heat up considerably (ie. too hot to touch) in high ambient temps? I wish there was an option for a ceramic or a darker shade of the stainless. The price and ease of installation are tempting me.

Mine do NOT get hot, even when the heat index is 100+ degrees

Thank you for the before and after pics of your upgrade. I am always looking to update my Lil Red to enhance her classy look, and I think these just might do the trick. Sounds like an easy mod; although I was an aircraft mechanic for 22 years (USAF), so it should not be much of an issue. LOL! Again, Thanks, Soolman32 for the blog! Keep us posted if you find anymore of these classy upgrades!

I've tried pulling them out, but can't seem to pry them out. Do you have to use a considerate amount of force to pull them out?

Thanks

should just pull right off. Worse case scenario, wrap the them in a cloth a use light force with a pair of pliers.

some Gs will require more force to pull out. Don't worry about breaking anything because they are not clamped or clipped. Like bat6wc mentioned, you can try wrapping the ***** with cloth or wrapping pliers with cloth and pull. Hope this helps.

Just installed my set. THanks Carsmo for your great product and speedy delivery!

fyi..it was a little tough to pull out but I manages to yank them right out with a few hard tugs from my hands!
